So today is national “Take Your Child to Work Day”. (I wonder if Hallmark makes a card for this very special day. “Welcome, Slugger, to your future cubicle! Love Mommy and Daddy”) My advice to all parents out there - DON’T DO IT!

Well, on second thought maybe little Sally or Johnny has been acting up lately and you need to do something to get through to them. Then, yes, definitely take them to work with you. After they see all the s*#%t you put up with during the day, I bet they’ll be as obedient as the family dog.

The only good I see in taking your child to work is the experience will encourage them to start their own business. Gawd, I wish they had this lame annual event around when I was a tot. Maybe I wouldn’t be sitting here in this cubicle wishing I was someplace else.

Well, gotta go….late for a meeting!
